Maybe you've found it and had no idea what is it for. You might of used it, but not fully discovered all it can do. The usage of a dummy article in Jentla Marketing Hub is somehow restricted to creating a new category. But, as every article needs to be mapped to a certain category, it shouldn't be to hard finding a dummy article in your content manager.
So, yes, I'm about ready to leave all the small talk aside and tell you all about these special articles in Jentla. But first, a glimpse on how they can look like, after I'm done revealing the details of their creation and publishing :
For it all begins from this point. Anybody can map an article to an already existing category from the Advanced Content Administration section. But the purpose of the dummy article is to enable users to editing the content on site, without entering content manager. It allows published articles to be edited, copied or retracted by users with limited permissions on your site.
In the Categories section, create a new category, completing the mandatory fields (title, sites). Check the <<Create dummy article>> option, underneath the Status field, then save your changes. Your newly created article will appear in the Advanced Content Admin list. Its content will be empty.
Clicking on the article link, you will be able to add content to the empty article and publish it on site, once you're done.
The article will appear just as you wrote it, with an Edit button on the bottom of the page. This button will be seen on site only by registered users. Once a user edits the content for the first time and publishes it again, the article will then have the four buttons to be used for creating new, copying, editing or retracting.
Now you are back the start, with article ready to be used by logged in users. If your blog requires daily additions, for example, you can create this type of article for your contributor's easy access to the editing page. One editable article is sufficient for posting as many articles as you want, mapped to the same category.
