Content as objects
PDF Print E-mail

There are examples of so called Web CMS's that merely distribute content. This is symptomatic of the difficulties faced in truly managing content objects directing their behavior according to the organization's rules.

Jentla allows the sections and categories of the content to determine which sites they should be shown on, and in what positions.

With Jentla's multiple category hierarchies, it is even possible to select the intersection of two category groups for a particular place on a site. For example, on the right of an article that happens to be in a Football category, we might want to show the summary of an article that is also in the same category (in this case "Football") but is also in the coupon category. This can be done without needing to know any detail about either article. The objects determine where they should be presented.
