Local Government and Shires Associations of NSW: Local-e project

Background:

Local-e, a project of the Local Government and Shires Associations of NSW, needed a way to manage its 46 regional and rural websites to improve delivery of online services, such as managing Council and Community Events and Venues, FAQs and Community Directory.  Local-e found a solution with Jentla, the enterprise content management company.

Result:

They were able to deliver Jentla to allow easier in-house content management without the need for specialised technical knowledge, for example, at councils with smaller teams, or those managing large districts. Jentla have created a site blueprint for councils to work from, with the ability to simply import existing content from previous sites into an easier to manage platform. It also allows more opportunity for collaboration between councils to gain cost savings and as a robust, multisite platform, Jentla’s open source foundation provides councils with a more flexible future web strategy.
